Zephaniah 1
1 The word of the LORD which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of
Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son
of Amon, king of Judah.
2 I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD.
3 I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and
the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked: and I will cut
off man from off the land, saith the LORD.
4 I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants
of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the
name of the Chemarims with the priests;
5 And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that
worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;
6 And them that are turned back from the LORD; and those that have not sought
the LORD, nor enquired for him.
7 Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is
at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
8 And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD's sacrifice, that I will
punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with
strange apparel.
9 In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold,
which fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit.
10 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that there shall be
the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a
great crashing from the hills.
11 Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down;
all they that bear silver are cut off.
12 And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with
candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their
heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.
13 Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation:
they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and they shall plant
vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof.
14 The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even
the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of
wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and
thick darkness,
16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the
high towers.
17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men,
because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out
as dust, and their flesh as the dung.
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the
day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of
his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell
in the land.
Revelation 18
1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having
great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is
fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of
every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and
the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants
of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people,
that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her
iniquities.
6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according
to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment
and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no
widow, and shall see no sorrow.
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and
famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God
who judgeth her.
9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived
deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see
the smoke of her burning,
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that
great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man
buyeth their merchandise any more:
12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls,
and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all
manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of
brass, and iron, and marble,
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and
oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and
chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all
things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find
them no more at all.
15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand
afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen,
and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and
pearls!
17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster,
and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood
afar off,
18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is
like unto this great city!
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying,
Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the
sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God
hath avenged you on her.
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it
into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be
thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters,
shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he
be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be
heard no more at all in thee;
23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the
voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee:
for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were
all nations deceived.
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that
were slain upon the earth.
Joel 1:15
15 Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction
from the Almighty shall it come.
Isaiah 13:6
6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction
from the Almighty.
The day of the Lord is coming upon an unsuspecting world of sin. They don't suspect that their destruction is near. The world is filled with violence, sin, fornication, adultery, thefts, and et' cetera. This wickedness is filling this country and the rest of the world. The world is living deliciously and are partaking in all sorts of wickedness. Back in the 1960's less than 400,000 couples were involved in fornication. Today on the other hand more than 4 million (4,000,000) couples are participating in and living in fornication! This level of sin is escalating geometrically! Is it any wonder that life means so little to the nations young? Is it any wonder that God is about to cast his divine judgment on the world and this nation? The day of the Lord is at hand and the United States has become a nation of sin! God is going to judge this wicked nation of sin, and its politicians, lawyers, and judges that have propagated the sin!

This day of judgment is coming soon at an accelerated pace as the wickedness of this world increases. The day of the Lord will be a day of fire and destruction. The Bible tells us that all who are whoremongers, fornicators and etc will have their place in the lake of fire.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be
not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor
effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners,
shall inherit the kingdom of God.
This world that we are living in is getting worse and worse.
Look at the number of unmarried couples from 1960 to the present.
Compare it to the turbulent years of the late 60's and see the rise of the
wickedness. As this living in sin escalates, God's judgment
will come upon the wicked as they are indulging in the wickedness. Looking in
the FBI's web site

shows some interesting reports about crime statistics. Crime
that is reported to the FBI from local and state agencies is maintained in a
database. Is it any wonder that the Lord is going to judge
this nation? We have become an adulterous and wicked nation.
The day of judgment is coming to this nation and there is none that can
prevent it.
