We live in a society that honors the sports player above the ones in the medical profession. We have become just like tne Roman Emrire with the Gladiators. Look at all of the excitement caused by the Super bowl. Can any of the football players help with any illness? We live in a society that pays a sports athlete millions of dollars and begrudge paying a doctor $100,000 dollars. The medical breakthroughs which can save our lives do not make the headlines like the sports stars.
