This past week I took a peak at http://www.salon.com which is a great source of the latest technology information on line. There was an interesting article by Katharine Mieszkowski titled, ``Put that silicon where the sun don't shine.'' The article is about development of an implanted chip that is powered by the body instead of requiring a battery. This new device will make it impossible to turn off once it is embedded in the body. Also, some of the major funding for this technology comes from the US government.
Now the Bible tells us that in the last days there is going to be a mark of the beast that will enable you buy and sell without the use of money or cards. Also this new chip has gps (global positioning system) in it that will enable the receiver to locate you within 1 meter ground distance. The first paragraph reads:
``Worry no more, doting parents! Whether it's your little pumpkin's first walking home from school by herself or the millionth time you've lost her at the mall, the BabysitterTM will track your sweetpeas location from a jelly bean-sized micro chip implant, discretely tucked under her collarbone.''
Though this article starts off by sounding positive about an embedded microprocessors in humans, the author brings up very real concerns about this technology and how the government might force it upon people.
Revelation 13:1-18
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
As you can see if you read the above referenced article in full there is now the developing technology for using the body's heart and blood flow to power the chip in lieu of a battery. This new technology will make the chip able to always be on and never needing a recharge. Also the signal strength will never grow weak as with a battery design. The body will be able to provided a consistent power supply to the micro processor enabling the chip to continue processing and transmitting information until the body dies.
I agree with the author that the first implementations of the device will be upon the military, prisoners,and the ones on public assistance. Then it will progress to the Social Security recipients and finally become law for everyone. Those who receive the chip will be condemned while those who refuse the chip will become the enemies of the state.
This is on the forefront of technology with the coerced and then forced implementation not very far away. Many will believe the hype and sales pitch and will get the chip. But those who refuse there will be extreme measures taken against them up to and including the execution of those who refuse. These chips will give you access to your bank account, credit cards, and will keep tabs upon where you go. This will be more invasive than house arrest where they place a ankle bracelet that tells your position to the state. Those who walk out of their house will be picked up by the police. Now with the implementation of these chips the government will keep track of everywhere you go and conversely everyone you come in contact with. This will provide more information than the secret police will ever be able to obtain. And the thing is that people will be sold on the idea that it is a good thing and that it is for their own good.
This is the way that the government works, giving you partial information about what they are attempting to do while claiming that they are helping you. Like Social Security you don't have a choice about signing up. If you want to work in the US then you must have the cursed number assigned by the government. Though the Social Security card states that it is not to be used for identification, try to open a bank account without that number.
So the day where you are facing the choice of receiving the chip or not is rapidly approaching. The day where the Christian will have to make a stand and become the enemy of the state is soon at hand. Are you ready to take the same stand that the Lord Jesus did with your life? Are you ready to face a day where you will be a condemned prisoner for refusing an implant? That day is soon upon us. Where will you stand? Will you stand for freedom or will you become the slave of the state? The choice will be yours, but the ramifications will be astounding.
