Comments and Notes

Notes:
MySQL On June 30, 2004 I started working on the client php scripts which access the MySQL data base. I have been in the process of adding all of my sermons to the data base which provides full text searching along with the latest sermon.
pdf files You need either Adobe Acrobat or xpdf to view these files. To get Adobe Acrobat if you do not already have it installed on your system go to: http://www.adobe.com.

For those who are using Linux you already know where you can get xpdf depending on your distribution. For Debian users do:
apt-get install xpdf;
Open Office files

These are the offered for those who have Open Office on their system. You are invited to use any of my sermons for spreading the gospel of peace, I only ask you to please give proper credit.

If you want an absolutely free office suite to edit your sermons go to: http://www.openoffice.org.

If you have Open Office loaded on your system the down load time will be a lot less since the Open Office files are only about 16K bytes compared to 360K bytes for the pdf files.

Why 2 versions? The pdf files are provided for the user who just wants to view the file, while the Open Office version is provided for editing purposes.
MS Word files

There are some of you wondering why I do not include MS Word formatted files. As a person interested in computer security, MS Word files have the potential of containing a macro that could be hazardous to your system. Any good system administrator will tell you that you are not to open any Word files from unknown sources. ANY site on the Internet is an Unknown source unless you are personally involved with the site.

Search Engine links

To get all of the search engine robots to see all of the sermons the following is ecessary.
