Eva G.8 (Cressey) Hale (Thaddeus P.7, John6, Joseph5, John4, Daniel3, John2, Mighill1)
Born October 19, 1855, in Dover, New Hampshire, married 1883 Samuel Hale of Rollingsford, New Hampshire, son of Frank W. and grandson of Samuel, who operated the cotton mills at South Berwick, Maine. He worked at mill business, went to the Klondike, and worked for an English mining syndicate, by whom he was sent to Europe in winter 1909-10. He and his wife were aboard an express train bound from Paris, France, to Calais, when he met with a tragic death when by mistake he opened the wrong door and plunged to the ground, April 1910 at 54.
