Samuel5 Cressey (William4, Samuel3, William2, Mighill1) was born in Newbury, Mass., June 6, 1786, married (1) in 1807 Catherine, daughter of Samuel Goddard of Roxbury, born 1780, died 1852 at 72. He married (2) Caroline _____. He died in 1859 at 73.

Samuel Goddard6, born January 15, 1813, married in 1834 Lodena Copp of Lowell, born 1811, died 1889 at 78. He was one of the first to change the spelling of the name Creasey. He died June 5, 1886, at 73.

3 Ch.: Eben7, Charles, Albert E., born February 19, 1842, clerk, unmarried, enlisted Civil War in 1861 in Company B, 40th New York (Mozart) Infantry, for 3 years; in siege of Yorktown, battle of Williamsburg, May 5, Fair Oaks, May 31, and June 1, 1862, killed and buried on the battlefield.
