Dr. Oliver6 Sawyer Cressey (Edward5 W., Daniel4, Daniel3, John2, Mighill1) was born in Bradford, New Hampshire in 1805, Married in 1831 Sarah Stanwood of Gloucester, Mass. After receiving a college and medical education he began the practice of medicine in Hamilton, Mass., about 1834; was a successful physician and a useful citizen; was a member of the Constitutional Convention in 1853. His wife died in 1880. He died in 1890 at 85. |
