When a young man he took up government lands in the place where Bradford, New Hampshire, and other towns now stand, which he traded, making a good property. He kept a tavern, was a Representative to the New Hampshire Legislature for several years. They were members of the Baptist Church. He d. in 1822 at 54. She d. in 1859 at 84. |
