Sally7 Cressey Brooks (John M.6, John W.5, John4, Daniel3, John2, Mighill1) born November 4, 1808, married 1831 Gardner Brooks of Portland, Maine, born 1806 in Freedom, New Hampshire; was in cooperage business in Portland and Buxton; members Free Baptist Church in Buxton, 1840. He served as selectman of Buxton in 1853; moved back to Portland about 1860. She died 1879 in 71st year. He died 1882 at 76; buried in Evergreen Cametery.

Hannah C. Brooks, born March 26, 1834, married 1854 Theodore E. Harmon, Buxton. She died 1871. His grandfather, Major Thomas Harmon, was a bodyguard of George Washington in the Revolutionary War.
