Mary I.7 Cressey Fuller (Dr. Alonzo6, Hezekiah5, Joseph4, Daniel3, John2, Mighill1)
Born Lima, New York, 1841
Married 1862 in Michigan, Captain Jesse B. Fuller, son of Judge Fuller of Vermont. In 1861 he raised a Battery of 6 guns and 136 men enlisted for 3 years. Later it was Battery D, 1st Michigan Regiment, Light Artillery. He served on General Alger's staff and under General Thomas; was at Pittsburg Landing, Stone River, Chickamauga, where his battery lost 5 guns. In Fort Nagley, Chattanooga, he was in battles at Lookout Mountain and Missionary Ridge. He was brevetted Lieutenant-Colonel and mustered out in 1865; a prominent Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) man.
His wife died in September 1867, in 25th year.
In 1873 Cpt. Fuller married Carrie A. Cressey, Mary's sister.
