Robert Cressey Rounds, born May 9, 1896, married June 20, 1925, Marjorie Lillian Snow, daughter of Herbert and Emma (Stratton) Snow of Cambridge, Massachusetts, a church wedding. She was born August 23, 1897, graduated at Quincy High School, 1914, Radcliffe College, A. B., cum laude, 1918, taught Avon High School, 1918-19, Concord Academy, 1919-24, Bradford Academy, 1924-25. Was a member of the Concord Players, former member choir First Congregational Church, Cambridge, member Church Committee and President of Parish Players, Past President Radcliffe Club of Boston. Mr. Rounds graduated Gorham High School, 1914, Bowdoin College, 1918, cum laude, A. B., attended Harvard Law School 3 years, LL. B., 1924, teacher and coach Gorham High School, 1919-20, member Bowdoin College faculty, 1920-21, taught at Northeastern Preparatory School, Boston, and Burdett College, served in World War I, U. S. Army, at Camp Devens, Lee and Sherman, discharged as a Sergeant of Infantry. He is now President of the Boston Gorham High School Association, and Committeeman on the Boston Emergency Relief Campaign. Was admitted to the bars of Maine and Massachusetts in 1924, and since that time practiced law in Boston with office at 60 State Street.
