Born December 30, 1871 in Gorham, Maine, married:
(1) in 1901 Robina Corey, St. John, N. B.
(2) Annie Slater of England.
(3) in 1921 Mrs. Alice Cain of Galveston, Texas.
He was educated at Gorham, Maine, High School and Limington Academy. Was a master carpenter, licensed guide, photographer, taxidermist, philatelist, and farmer. He won prizes for swimming and canoe-racing while living in Hartford, Connecticut. Went to Sawtelle, California (now a section of Los Angeles) some years ago.
