William Plummer⁶ Cressey (Edward W.⁵, Daniel⁴, Daniel³, John², Mighill¹)
Born 1812 in Bradford, New Hampshire, married in 1836 Mary, daughter of Colonel Enoch and Sarah Gould of Hopkinton, New Hampshire. He was educated in the public schools of Bradford; held many town offices; was a lumber dealer and quite a celebrated trainer of horses. A common remark of him was, "What a gentlemanly man, and so cordial." He died in 1890 at 78.
