Dea. Greely M.⁶ Cressey (Cyrus⁵, Richard⁴, Daniel³, John², Mighill¹) was born in Bradford, New Hampshire February 22, 1818. Married in 1843 Jane M. Spaulding. They lived in Nashua and Manchester, where he became overseer of the "Stark Mills" for several years. In 1859 he went to Pike's Peak, Colorado, to dig gold, where he remained 2 or 3 years with very good success. He returned to Bradford and lived with ease on the old homestead farm the rest of his days. He was deacon of the Congregational Church in Bradford. He died in 1897 in 80^th year.
