Curtis Rice6 Cressey (Samuel5, Joseph4, Joseph3, William2, Mighill1)
Born September 25, 1804, Henniker, New Hampshire. Married
(1) Susan B. Littlefield of Wells, Maine in Conway, New Hampshire, 1827. She died in Conway, 1848.
(2) Abbie R. Dennett of Eaton, New Hampshire. They moved to Brownfield, Maine.
In 1847 he took a trip to Georgia and in 1870 to California, visiting his sons there. He was a prosperous farmer, persevering and honest in all his dealings. A strong temperance man and he and his wives were members of the Free Baptist Church. He died in Brownfield, September 18, 1887, in his 83rd year. His widow married a Mr. Sargent.
