Born December 7, 1854 in Gorham, Maine.
Married:
    (1) November 12, 1882 Annie C. Johnson, daughter of Thomas Johnson of Cornish. She attended Gorham Academy, and a graduate of Gorham Normal School in the first class in 1880. They were both members First Parish Congregational Church.
    (2) November 23, 1924 Alice F. O'Neil of Portland, Maine, his former secretary; a church wedding in Boston, Massachusetts.
Mr. Cressey attended the Gorham Seminary, and a graduate of Gorham Academy; studied music with noted musicians. Has been connected with the music business in Portland for over 40 years, was founder and president of the Cressey & Allen music store. Was a composer and organist of ability, played for churches in Gorham, Westbrook and Portland. Gave singing, piano and organ lessons. He served as president of the Kotzschmar Musical Society, was a member of the Odd Fellows and Knights of Pythias. His first wife died October 8, 1921, in 60th year. He died January 19, 1929, at 74.

Married 1921 George L. Stanwood, Freeport, Maine. He graduated at Freeport High school, 1896, shoe salesman, owner and manager, died 1933.
She attended Portland, Maine schools, studied music in Portland, Boston and Berlin, Germany. Teacher music with studio in Portland.

Educated public schools of Portland and Thornton Academy, Saco, Maine. Vice President and salesman for Cressey & Allen music store.

Married in 1920 Sally Churchill.
He is a graduate of Portland, Maine High School and Bowdoin College, Treasurer Cressey & Allen music store.

Marcia F.9 (Cressey) Passage born March 20, 1898.
Married in 1927 Lloyd S. Passage of Brooklyn, New York, a publisher's agent.
She graduated Portland High School and Wellesley College.
