Rev. Edwin Wrifford6 Cressey (Benjamin5, Daniel4, Daniel3, John2, Mighill1) was born July 18, 1808, in Sharon, Vermont, married (1) in 1829 Eliza R. Cate, who died in 1848 in North Conway, New Hampshire, married (2) Martha P. Gage, about 1850, of Hopkinton, New Hampshire. When a young man he was a cabinetmaker. Was converted and baptized; being impressed with the "work of the ministry," he left his trade to go to school at Hopkinton Academy, in addition to the public and a private school taught by his brother, Timothy R. After being prepared for the ministry, and ordained, he preached in Sangerville, Vassalboro, Fairfield, and Freeport, Maine and North Conway, New Hampshire. In 1850 he went to Wabash, Indiana, and organized a Baptist Church at Rolling Stone. He was appointed American Baptist Home Mission, located at Minneapolis, where he organized the First Baptist Church. He organized many churches and was active in temperance and evangelistic work. He died at the "College Hospital," Minneapolis, September 15, 1883, at 75. Widow died 1893 at 73.

Roger Williams, born 1842 in Vassalboro, Maine, married Lila J. Shepard, 1876, Des Moines, Iowa. He was an Indian scout in "Roger's Mounted Militia" when the town of Hutchinson, Minnesota, was destroyed by the Indians. Served in Civil War; died Northfield, 1920.

Rev. Charles Gage, born 1855 in Hastings, Minnesota, married Augusta _____. Attended Baptist Theological Seminary at Morgan Park, Illinois, 1881, ordained 1882, pastor at Whitefield and Steuben, Illinois, Centerville, South Dakota, Idaho and California Home Missionary, died 1931, San Diego, California.
